Conceptual Evolution

Visual Direction


Focus Lab developed a visual brand identity to convey a more flirty, feminine, and celebratory brand experience for PinkBlush. The brand leverages simplicity for clear messaging while offering a hint of the brand’s tasteful, coy personality via secondary visual language like icons and color. Through visual components, the brand conveys movement and motion, an accessible boutique sensibility, and trustworthiness.

PinkBlush is an online cost-conscious clothing boutique for pregnant women with strong brand trustworthiness. They aim to sharpen their visual brand identity in conjunction with an expansion of their line into a higher-end market and, possibly, into general womenswear (beyond maternity). Accordingly, they are interested in diversifying their target audience beyond frugal, expectant mothers to a middle/upper-middle class female consumer who appreciates fashion that marries comfort with style. This line will include, but not be limited to, maternity wear.
